Rituals & Roleplay

Rituals are the heartbeat of the District — immersive, sensory, and always consent-driven. Every ceremony advances the lore. Every attendance is recorded. Every action has consequence.

The Ritual System

Rituals in the Primal District are not passive events. When you attend, your HUD registers your presence. The Ritual Circle objects in-world communicate with this website in real time — logging attendance, distributing Vital Spirit bonuses, and advancing your character along their bloodline path. Rituals are announced via the in-world notice board, the District Discord, and this website’s Events calendar.

Some rituals are open to all. Others are faction-locked, bloodline-specific, or require a minimum character level to participate. Your HUD will display eligibility before you enter the circle.

Roleplay Guidelines

The Primal District uses a narrative-first, dice-optional RP style. You do not need to roll dice to participate in most scenes. Combat and contested actions use the HUD system for fairness and transparency.

  • Character death is always consensual. You cannot be permanently killed without OOC agreement between both players and staff sign-off.
  • God-modding is zero tolerance. Controlling another character’s actions or reactions without consent is a bannable offense.
  • Metagaming is penalised. Using OOC knowledge in-character results in reputation loss and possible storyline reversal.
  • RP pausing is always allowed. Use double brackets (( )) for OOC communication mid-scene — no explanation needed.
  • Lore continuity matters. Personal storylines must not contradict established world events without prior staff approval via the lore submission form.
  • The safeword is “District-Stop.” This pauses any scene instantly, no questions asked, no pressure to resume.
