Official lore creates questions, not answers. The District has canon anchors, but not canon cages — room enough for “I heard…” and “nobody knows if…” to stay true.
How an Arc Unfolds
I. The Signal
Something changes. A symbol appears. A familiar place turns unfamiliar. The purpose is curiosity.
II. The Gathering
People notice. Rumors spread. Investigation is optional — observing is participation too.
III. The Turning
A ritual, a revelation, a transformation. Participants may influence details without controlling the outcome.
IV. The Remains
The story leaves something behind — a changed location, a new symbol, a memory. No one is required to have taken part.
